Which EU AI Act transparency rules apply to you?
Since 2 August 2026, the EU AI Act requires organisations to tell people when they're talking to AI, label AI-generated content that could look real, and more, depending on how they use AI. These rules also reach businesses outside the EU whose AI is used there. Answer a few questions to see which are likely to apply to you.
This checker gives a general indication from your answers. It isn't legal advice, and it doesn't cover the Act's rules for high-risk AI. See the EU entries in the AI regulations tracker for the other dates.
